Open Journal of Organic Chemistry

Overview

Aims & Scope

Open Journal of Organic Chemistry (OJOC) is an open access, international peer-reviewed journal publishing original research contributions in the field of organic chemistry and related areas. The journal is of interest to researchers in both academia and industry. Scope of the journal covers all branches of organic chemistry including but not limited to,

  • New synthetic methods and techniques
  • Total synthesis of natural products and isolation
  • Asymmetric synthesis
  • Heterocyclic chemistry and Carbohydrate chemistry
  • Theoretical and Physical organic chemistry
  • Organometallic, Organo and Enzyme catalysis
  • Bioorganic and Medicinal chemistry
  • Chemical Biology and Biochemistry
  • Green chemistry and Environmental Chemistry
  • Process and Development Research
  • Organic Materials, Supramolecular and Macromolecular Chemistry

Types of articles published:

Communications: Short and preliminary reports on advanced research, novel and innovative approaches related to organic chemistry.

Full papers: Full and comprehensive accounts of the original contributions in organic chemistry. Full paper can also be an extension of previously published communication with significant expansion of results, discussion, experimental methods, additional data and conclusions.

Mini Reviews: Concise and focused reviews of current trends and key topics of organic chemistry. The reviews should provide current state of knowledge in the area of interest with up-to-date information.
