About A Formula in Sociology of Education

The article discusses the importance in applied sociology of derived by G. Danilov formula relating to quantify the result of a multi-faceted high school teacher (and in more general terms – of any creative worker) with two generalized characteristics: Leadership Index (teacher’s achieving in the most successful direction) and Harmony Index (degree of flexibility, balance his work). Given the treatment of the formula in terms of synergetics, and provides empirical support for it in the form of a statistical chart, which reveals the effects of bifurcation and hysteresis. It is also shown that the G. Danilov’s formula can be the basis of building rating systems of universities.
